Quinta da Peza Oro receives a Special Prize at the 26th Official Valdeorras Tasting

Last Friday, June 27th, the awards ceremony for the 26th Official Valdeorras DO Tasting was presented, honoring the best wines of the vintage.

In this case, our Quinta da Peza Oro 2022 was recognized with a Special Mention for red wines from other vintages.

This recognition is for our most classic wine, and a benchmark among Galician barrel-aged reds. A wine that transports you to the warm slopes of A Peza, where Galicia almost connects with the Iberian plateau, and the red grape achieves full ripeness. It is then aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, resulting in a wine that is both classic in its production and on the palate.
